Assam Govt. directs its employees to get vaccinated within three days
GUWAHATI: The Assam Government on Wednesday issued new SOP which mentioned that all government employees (including contractual and fixed pay) who have not been administered with the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine must get vaccinated within three days from the date of issue of the new SOP in order to join duty.

GUWAHATI: The Assam Government on Wednesday issued new SOP which mentioned that all government employees (including contractual and fixed pay) who have not been administered with the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine must get vaccinated within three days from the date of issue of the new SOP in order to join duty.

The government also mentioned that employees who have taken at least the first dose of vaccine will be allowed to attend office.
Meanwhile, employees engaged in emergency/essential services shall attend their duty without any restrictions.
The private or government organization rendering essential/emergency services, law enforcement services and election work will continue working without any restrictions in all districts.
