GUWAHATI: The Assam government is likely to impose full lockdown in six districts of the state including Cachar, Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Nagaon, Sonitpur and Biswanath.

According to sources, the curfew hours in the Kamrup (M) district might be reduced by one hour i.e. from 2PM to 1PM.

Earlier, the State Government had declared a curfew from 1 pm in the state ordered shops and other commercial establishments to remain closed from 12 noon.

As per the earlier guidelines, there shall be total ban on the movement of individuals from 1 PM to 5 AM daily. The SOPs will remain in force till June 16.

Restaurants, Dhabas and other eateries were allowed to entertain dine-in guests only up to 12 noon. Takeaway including home delivery of food is allowed till 1 PM after which only home delivery of food will be allowed.
