Assam: Hima Das to skip mixed team relay

India’s new track and field sensation, Hima Das, will focus on individual sprint (200m and 400m) events during next month’s Asian Games in Jakarta and skip the newly-introduced mixed-team 4x400m relay.

Bringing glory to the nation, sprinter Hima, popularly known as Dhing Express, created history after clinching a gold medal in the 400-metre final at IAAF World Under-20 Athletics Championships in Tampere, Finland.
