Assam: Journalistic integrity compromised in Margherita

Journalists are the Fourth Pillar of Democracy but for so-called Journalists nowadays Journalism is a source of income for them. On Tuesday All Adivasi Students Association of Assam(AASAA) Margherita Regional Committee submitted a memorandum to Margherita SDO(Civil) to stern action Satyajit Bodo a reporter of an unknown web portal of Margherita.

Jarnel Minz and Ajay Mundri both President and General Secretary of AASAA Margherita Regional Committee said that Satyajit Bodo a few days ago through mobile phone call Forest Beat officer of Margherita Achyut Gogoi and told him that one senior Journalist of Digboi and AASAA Margherita Regional Committee have to get managed so if you give me Rs 2000 to Rs 5000 I cannot manage all of them. Jarnel Minz said that Satyajit Bodo has used the name of AASAA which we are very much disappointed and shocked as to how unknown Web portal Reporter Satyajit Bodo used the name of AASAA and Senior Journalist of Digboi.

Margherita Journalists Association President Ram Prasad Ambedkar and General Secretary Rana Jyoti Neog said that Journalism is the fourth pillar of Democracy but we are very much disappointed and ashamed where Mushrooming of Unknown Web portal Reporter Satyajit Bodo has extorted in and try to manage AASAA and Senior Journalist of Digboi which Margherita Journalist Association condemned the incident and appealed to Margherita Administration(Civil) to stern action against So called Journalist Satyajit Bodo and to keep strict vigil on the rampant mushrooming growing of unknown Journalist at Margherita Sub Division.
