ASSAM: KHUMTAI GREEN REVOLUTION

4July, 2018: When many unemployed youth are running after government services, a few youth in Khumtai of Golaghat district, Assam have been engaged in agricultural development. These youths have started revolution in the field of agriculture.
In around five acres of land three-four youths named Nripen Bodo, Dipu Bodo and Jaan have cultivated ghost chilly plants and have been benefited with the initiative so far. They mentioned that they have not received any support from the Agriculture Department and also actual market rates for their products. If they receive support from the Agriculture Department they are planning to increase their cultivation land to ten to fifteen acres
