ASSAM: LEGAL PROCEDURES LEAD TO RESULTS: AABHIJEET SHARMA

Aabhijeet Sharma, the chief of Assam Public Works who has long been fighting for deportation of illegal immigrants who also filed a case for the publication of NRC in Assam stated that it is only through legal procedures that leads the concerns to fruitation.

Stating certain statistics, he stated that we have a colossal portion of 27,92,970 unemployed Assamese which needs to come out to grab it's place in various sectors to drive off the illegal immigrants. He stated that according to some research every village has an unemployed population of 120 people each. 80% of which is educated. Thus he stated that every political, non policital, governmental, non governmental organization should join hands to provide employment to the population to dismantle the problem of illegal immigrants.

Sharma also stated that if the Citizenship Amendment Bill isn't diluted, they would take to the Supreme Court for further proceedings for restoration of justice.
