"As people hesitate to come forward, it becomes very hectic and tiresome for me. I try my best to help the people in need as directed and assisted by Robin Hibu. But it is disheartening to see that no one has come forward to help people their own state", Saikia added.

"Even when we organize blood donation camps, very few people from Assam as well as Manipur show up to donated blood compared to other Northeastern states", he adds.

The post-mortem report of the man is awaited as informed by Saikia which will be required for the cremation.

"I have also talked with the airlines as the family wants the body to be cremated in Jorhat", informed Saikia.

Saikia further said that there should be a proper meeting among the Assam associations in Delhi so that such problems can be attended to immediately.
