GUWAHATI: Assam media mogul Dr. Sanjive Narain has been awarded the 'Mahatma Gandhi National Award 2020' by the Mahatma Gandhi Global Peace Forum -- A CHARITABLE TRUST OPERATING IN INDIA.

Dr. Sanjive Narain, one of the most influential media personalities in the Northeast, has been awarded for his "excellent and incredible Humanitarian services in favour of Human Rights, spreading Peace & Harmony, and for the betterment of the society at large."

Mahatma Gandhi Global Peace Forum_ (MGGPF) is a registered charitable trust under I.T Act 1882, registered under Niti Ayog, Govt. of India and affiliated to Global Peace University to promote peace and harmony through art, culture, and education around the World having its registered office at Guwahati, Assam and National head Office at Delhi.

According to its official website, the organization focuses on universal values, which transcends the boundaries of religion, ethnicity, gender, and geography.
