Assam: Minister Parimal Suklabaidya inaugurates infrastructure projects to mark Vajpayee

DISPUR: In line with the observation of Good Governance Day to mark the 97th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee's, Minister for Environment and Forest, Fisheries and Excise, Parimal Suklabaidya inaugurated a newly built RCC bridge at Santipur Road under Puthikhal Goan Panchayat in Cachar district on Saturday.

According to officials, the bridge named Atal Setu was constructed at a cost of Rs.195.32 lakh.

Minister Suklabaidya also inaugurated a newly built road from NH-54 Nutanbazar to PDB (Paloi-Derby-Borjalenga Road) via Atharotila including cross drainage work and routine maintenance of the work for five years under PMGSY at an estimated amount of Rs.825.66 lakh. Suklabaidya said it was a dream project for the people of entire Puthikhal GP.

Cachar BJP President, Bimalendu Roy, Madhya Dholai ZP Member and General Secretary of Cachar BJP, Shashanka Chandra Paul, Silchar MP nominee, Pulak Das, Karimganj MP nominee, Suraj Sen, Silchar Town Development Authority Chairman, Manjul Dev, among others, were present on the occasion.
