Assam Nurses go on Indefinite Strike 

Diphu, November 26, 2018:

The All Assam Nurses' Association (AANA) on Monday took out a state-wide indefinite protest demanding same salary of the Staff Nurse Service rule for staff nurse.

The AANA demanded salary anomaly correction of staff nurse in Rule of Pay (RoP) 7th pay and productivity committee 2017 and the correction of establishment of staff nurse designations as per norms.

They further demanded creation of post like- staff nurse, ward in-charge, Assistant matron, nursing officers as per norms (INC) and develop the carrier path of staff nurse.

Moreover, promotion list to be release per year as per rules. Gradation list should be published on or before December 31 per year.
