ASSAM: OPERATION DALAL UNFURLS 'POWER BROKER', ASSAM MINISTER'S INVOLVEMENT COMES TO FORE

Health Minister of Assam, Himanta Biswa Sharma who has been in controversy for not so good reasons swirls into controversy again and this time in connection of some 'power broker' Anuj Poddar unveiled by a search operation 'Operation Dalal ' by ABP group.

Anuj Poddar who claims himself to be 'Power Broker' and has links with reputed IAS and IPS officers in some scrupulous dealings. This came to light after the Tax department raided Poddar's residence at defence colony in New Delhi on 27th May 2018. A report has been filed by the Tax Department which revealed some extras too,  highlighting major engagements of the ministers of different states with Sarma topping the list. Certain exchange of mails between Himanta Biswa Sharma and Poddar were trapped regarding some tenders mentioned in the report of the tax department.

ABP group when paid a visit to Guwahati for interrogation with the minister was slammed at, denying all the accusations, terming the media house to be uncultured. It's only time and some investigative reporting which will unseed the matter which will decide if he is innocent or guilty
