ASSAM: PROTEST AGAINST CITIZENSHIP AMENDMENT BILL CONTINUES IN THE STATE

The continuous flow of protest against citizenship amendment bill 2016 can be seen in the state. The Axom Sangrami Yuba Chatra Santha from Golaghat district staged the protest in front of DC office meanwhile the Asom Jatiyatabadi Yuba Chatra Parishad also staged a protest against the Citizenship Amendment Bill in Nalbari where they burnt the effigy of PM Narendra Modi, Home Minister Rajnath Singh and CM Sarbananda Sonowal.

The protesters made a clear statement not to accept the dirty politics of the BJP government which have been imposed upon the common people. They also made their stand clear that if the government does not accpect their demands to dismiss the citizenship amendment bill then it will lead to a dire situation in the state.
