ASSAM: PROTEST AGAINST PAY SCALES

The primary teachers staged a protest against where the activists forced to close the school inspector’s office. The protesters demanded to increase the grade pay, and increase the pay scale of the higher secondary teachers. It may be noted that the protesters stopped the ongoing half yearly exams and locked the school gates creating a chaotic situations within the school premises. Now the reaction of education minister is awaited who previously ordered not to stage protests closing the schools.
