ASSAM: RIVER AIE OVERFLOWS, TAKES A TOLL ON THE PEOPLE

Heavy Rain on the foothills of Bhutan made the river Aie to overflow ravaging some part Aaiyopali village of Thukrajhar. The Aie River of Chirang has spread across destroying a huge part of the village. The administrative is however mum on the matter and no govt administrative has arrived to investigate the issue. No precautionary measures were undertaken even after the alerts signaled by the Central Water Commission to the Assam Disaster Management authority. According to the locals, the area has been sanctioned 4 crore from BTC govt. to protect the area from flood.
