ASSAM: RIVER EROSION CREATES THREAT IN TINSUKIA DISTRICT

The Burhi dihing river erosion brought a threat in the lives of the Pengree area alongwith with Tekeree, Nmasai, Munggong Pother, Enthem Nogapothar areas under the Tinsukia district, Margherita Legislative Assembly. Thousands of lands has been putrid in the burhi dihing river.

The burhi dihing river has created havoc in the lives of the people as every year all the crops were being washed away and lands has been eroded by this river. The  administration and MLA has not taken any steps against the erosion of this river.
