Maharishi Vidya Mandir Senior Secondary School has recently issued the notice informing about conducting offline exams for class 9 to 12.

After the notice was circulated, the parents have opposed the move by the school to schedule plans of offline exams for the students. The parents' concerns have now been forwarded to the Principal.

One of the school authority said, "We planned to conduct the exams from classes 9 to 12 with proper social distancing. The plan was to admit 10 students instead of the usual 40. But the parents have opposed the move and as such we have forwarded it to the Principal."

The move to open the school is in contradiction to the statements made by Assam Education Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma who had called for resuming of formal education from November 1.
