GUWAHATI: Two mild-to-moderate earthquakes jolted Guwahati and various places of Assam in the last 24 hours.
An earthquake measuring 4.1 on Richter scale rocked Guwahati and other parts on Sunday at 2:34pm. The earthquake originated 8.9 km west of Dhekiajuli in Sonitpur district of Assam.

The second one measuring 3.8 on Richter scale was experienced on Monday morning at 09:50am. The epicentre of the earthquake was traced to a region in Sonitpur district of Assam, according to the Regional Meteorological Centre.
