Assam: Seven year old girl child sacrificed in Sonari, Police arrests two

CHARAIDEO: Assam police has arrested two accused in connection with a suspected case of human sacrifice in Charaideo district of the state.

Reportedly, the shocking incident took place in Tingalibam village of  Sonari town where a 7 year old girl was allegedly murdered as a part of some superstitious ritual.

Ingredients and materials used in puja were found near the body of the minor, reports said.

The incident has created sensation in the area.

It is noteworthy that earlier  this month, 9 accused were arrested in connection with a similar case of suspected human sacrifice at Sonari where a 4 year old girl went missing.

Her body was later recovered from Singlo river.
