ASSAM: TWO YOUTH BEATEN TO DEATH IN KARBI ANGLONG

Remorse has befallen in the Guwahati city

In a very adverse incident that occurred in Panjuri village of Karbi Anglong, two Guwahati youths were beaten to death. The deceased have been identified as Nilotpal Das and Abhijit Nath of Guwahati. Abhijit Nath was doing Business in Guwahati while Nilotpal was learning Sound Engeenering in Goa.

The two boys hailing from Guwahati became victims of fake social media reports on child theft in Karbi Anglong. According to sources, Abhijeet Nath and Nilotpal Das went for a short vacation to Karbi Anglong’s Dokmoka but they were suspected as child theft and were thrashed brutally by the locals and succumbed to their injuries.

By the time police reached, the locals fled from the spot. The two boys repeatedly gave their identities as Assamese and pleaded not to beat them but were constantly beaten to death.
