Assam: ULFA Linkman Working as Ward Boy in Private Hospital Arrested

Dibrugarh, August 7, 2019:

A sensational incident has come to light after Dibrugarh Police discovered that an United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) linkman was found to be working in a private hospital in the Assam city.

Police authorities informed Inside Northeast that the cadre, who has been identified as Kanak Pegu, hails from Golaghat district of Assam.

As per reports, he was arrested at around 10:30 am in the morning.

In addition to Pegu, Chayanika Kaman, Kavita Kaman, and Debo Duarah have also been arrested. They have been produced in Court.

While talking to Inside Northeast, a Dibrugarh police official said: "Investigation is underway, and we are waiting to make an official announcement."
