ASSAM: WOMAN SET ABLAZE

In a yet another terrifying incident, a mother of two was set ablaze with the intention of murder at Hafiznagar in Dabaka town of Hojai district. The victim was first taken to Hamm Hospital, Hojai, where she was later referred to Guwahati. It may be mentioned that allegedly a group of 4-5 miscreants entered her house and had committed the crime. Allegations have been made against Amir Hussain, Iman Uddin, Jamal Hussain, Hajira Begum and Nurjamal. According to the claims made by the husband of the victim, his family’s involvement is highly suspected.
