Assam's Barpeta district administration, along with the rest of the nation, will observe 'Sushasan Saptah – Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore' (Good Governance Week) from December 19 to 24.
The week-long campaign aims to foster good governance with support from both the Central and state governments.
The Barpeta district administration will target total clearance of the grievances through CPGRAMs and Sewa Setu portals.
In this regard, a meeting was held at the DC Conference Hall, Barpeta, on December 16, where circle officers, executive officers of the municipal board, BDOs, and CDPOs were instructed to ensure the finest service delivery at these camps, with the goal of disposing of the maximum number of grievances.
December 25 is celebrated as Good Governance Day every year.
The DC instructed officials to raise mass awareness among citizens to ensure maximum participation in the camps, where long-pending grievances must be resolved.
Rohan Kr. Jha, District Commissioner of Barpeta, has requested cooperation from all concerned and asked for high-quality photographs, reports, and participant numbers from the camps to be submitted to the District Administration (NIC Unit) for uploading on the 'Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore' Portal.
