Baby Snigdharag Bhuyan is no more. The baby boy had been battling with Cervical Spine Anomaly, a Neuro Metabolic Disorder breath his last on Monday night at a hospital in Guwahati. He had been undergoing treatment at the hospital since 10 March after his health condition deteriorated.

It may be mentioned that Snigdharag, who hails from Bishwanath Chariali, was previously undergoing treatment in the Department of Paedriatric Emergency and Critical Care, Gangaram Hospital, Delhi for more than two months after he was shifted to Delhi on 30 September 2017 from Guwahati for advanced treatment.  It was for the first time in the history of Assam that a green corridor was set up for the baby boy to be flown to Delhi. He was brought back to Assam by the end of November as his health got better.

Born on 24 February 2017, Snigdharag developed poor feeding and respiratory distress in June 2017 and had been subsequently diagnosed with Cervical Spine Anomaly. Since then his health had been fluctuating.
