GUWAHATI: Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited (BCPL) declared its maiden dividend of 15.66% on paid-up equity share capital in the 14th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Company held on September 16, 2021, at Guwahati.
The meeting was attended both virtually and physically.
The Chairman of BCPL, Manoj Jain presided over the meeting through video conferencing along with Reep Hazarika, Managing Director, Pruthiviraj Dash, Director (Finance), and other members of the BCPL Board and shareholders of the company.

Despite the disruption caused by the ongoing pandemic, the company successfully and safely operated the plant on a continuous basis at 106 percent capacity utilisation, producing 2,85,984 MT of polymers and 60,144 MT of liquid hydrocarbons during the year.
Polymer sales of 3,05,749 MT were achieved by marketing the products to downstream industries.
The Company that witnessed revenue compression during the initial period of the fiscal due to disruption caused by the pandemic, made a strong comeback, recording an increase in net worth to Rs 2,811.26 crore from Rs 2,073.05 crore in the previous year.
The authorised share capital of BCPL is Rs 2,000 crores and the paid-up capital is presently Rs 1,417.67 crores. With a turnover of Rs 2,449.66 crores, the Company earned a net profit of Rs 739.90 crores. An amount of Rs 11.50 crore was reserved for CSR activities during the fiscal.
