BJP CONVENES REVIEW MEETING ON PANCHAYAT POLL PREPAREDNESS

Guwahati, November 10, 2018:

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Assam Pradesh, reviewed preparations of the party for the Panchayat polls for the second consecutive day on Saturday.

BJP State president Ranjeet Kumar Dass, Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma besides other senior leaders were present in the review meeting.

Talking to the media, Ranjeet Kumar Dass said, “We will begin organizational works for the Panchayat polls from today itself.”

“110 coordinators will work in each constituency,” added Dass.

Dass said that they have authorized the district committees to take a decision on a possible alliance ahead of the elections.
