BJP doing politics in the name of COVID19, says Congress Leader Durga Das Boro

Senior Congress leader Durga Das Boro has alleged that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has been doing politics in the name of COVID-19.

"The entire country has been under unlock for COVID-19 and since the first day, the BJP has been doing politics which has now been exposed. After COVID19 declaration the Assam CM went to Delhi to return all their party MPs but didn't bring other political party MPs. They could only come after 2 months. This is how they started their politics", said Durga Das Boro.

He further alleges, "subsequently, Assam Leader of Opposition Debabrata Saikia was kept under containment zone like a prison as his bodyguard who was in Ghy was found to COVID-19. Even though Saikia was in Nazira, he himself asked the people around him to take the test, have nothing to say in that. But why was Debabrata Saika quarantined even after he remained 10 days under isolation?", asked Durga Das Boro

"The BJP is doing politics as the 14 containment zones should have ended and no health officials went to take stock of the situation. Saikia has already informed Sanjay Krishna regarding the situation. I request govt to stop politics in the name of COVID-19", said Boro.
