BJP REDUCING PETROL-DIESEL PRICES IS A POLITICAL GIMMICK: CONGRESS

The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee President Ripun Bora today said that the Bharatiya Janata Party led government reducing petrol and diesel prices is a political gimmick.

Addressing a press conference in Guwahati, the PCC chief said that the BJP has reduced petrol and diesel prices by Rupees five per litre keeping in mind the assembly elections in the four states, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Mizoram. Mr Bora added that the BJP has done it to woo voters of the these states. He said that the saffron party had done the same during the Gujarat and Karnataka assembly elections.
