Breaking | KLO cadre falls into trap in Assam's Tinsukia

Tinsukia, May 7, 2019:

In a major blow to militant activities in the state, the security forces on Tuesday apprehended one Kamatapur Liberation Organization (KLO) cadre from Makum bypass in Tinsukia district of Assam.

The operation was carried out by a team of 3 Garhwal Regiment personnel who handed the cadre over to the Makum Police.

The apprehended cadre has been identified as self-styled Sergeant Major Mukunda Koch alias Jyotish Roy. The team seized two live cartridges from the apprehendee. The cadre has revealed that he joined the militant group in 2015.
