Troops of Guwahati Frontier of Border Security Force have seized huge quantity of Ya ba tablets on Friday from bordering area of Gitaldah in Coochbehar district of West Bengal.
Acting on a tip-off, troops of BOP, Gitaldah carried out an operation near International border and apprehended a minor, along with 1125 Ya ba tablets.

The minor, identified as Ramjan Ali, was travelling from Gitaldah village to Boraibari village. While searching, the Ya ba tablets were recovered from his possession.
An FIR has been lodged at Dinhata police station against apprehended person under NDPS/Drug and Cosmetic Act.
The apprehended, along with seized items, was handed over to Dinhata police for further legal action.
