BTC budget session ends on Wednesday

Guwahati, December12, 2018:

The winter session of the Vidhan Sabha Assembly of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) ended with the budget on Wednesday.

In the budget session, many important issues were taken up by Members of Council Legislative Assembly (MCLA) like the BTC bus service, ration card, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna and education.

Addressing the media, BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary said, “In the ongoing Panchayat election, we are expecting to gain 60 per cent votes in the BTC areas”. He added that despite his instruction to submit the reports on various issues in the assembly session, the concerned authorities had not submitted any reports thus far.
