BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary inaugurates Hirimba Bathou Thansali temple at Udalguri

Udalguri, April 29, 2019:

BTC Chief Hagrama Mohilary on Monday inaugurated Hirimba Bathou Thansali - a beautiful construction - at Chinakona village near Khoirabari in Udalguri district of Assam.

Speaking on the sidelines of the inauguration ceremony, Mohilary said that that BPF candidate Pramila Rani Brahma has a clear mandate to win the Kokrajhar Lok Sabha seat.

The Hirimba Bathou Thansali temple (established way back in 1972) was formally inaugurated by Mohilary in a ceremonious event attended by Rajya Sabha member Biswajit Daimari; BTC executive member Lwmshrao Daimari; Kalaigaon MLA Mahesar Boro; Paneri MLA Kamali Basumatary amidst thousands of devotees who had thronged the temple.

It may be mentioned that Bathouism is an ethnic religion of the Bodo Community who have been following it for many centuries.
