Forging BTC chief Pramod Boro’s signatures fraudster collect huge money from contractors

KOKRAJHAR: Unknown fraudsters have looted many contractors across the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) forging the signature of the Bodoland territorial council (BTC) chief Pramod Boro, said the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to Boro Sangrang Brahma.

An FIR has been registered against the unknown fraudsters yesterday at Kokrajhar Police Station by Brahma.

Speaking to the media Brahma said, "We have come to know that some unknown fraudsters have looted many contractors and suppliers across the region by preparing fake official letters, writing pad and duplicate signature of CEM Pramod Boro."

To prevent such harassment of the suppliers and the contractors in the near future an FIR was filed against them seeking strict punishment for the accused persons, he added.

Brahma further said, "Earlier also many FIR has been filed against any such activities. "We keep a close eye on such illegal activities in the region."

Investigation on the matter is underway.
