Slamming "naysayers" for whispering that the Bodoland People Front (BPF) party's alliance with the BJP and AGP parties could be headed towards an end, the party head and Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) supremo Hagrama Mogilary informed mediapersons that the party will help its allies in the forthcoming elections and secure the Government in the region.
"Our main target should be how to retain power in 2021. BPF will form the Government in the BTC, however, the main question is how the alliance can again repeat the election result and retain power in Assam", the BTC Leader said.

In regards to seat sharing, BTC supremo Hagrama said, "(...)already Biswajit Daimary, Rihon Daimary, and Ranjeet Dass have been given the responsibility to assess how many seats can be given to the AGP or BJP and they will later submit reports to the party heads and BPF leaders."
Hagrama also exuded confidence that the party will resume its alliance with the BJP and BPF. "Look, alone the BJP or BPF cannot win here. So, we will take them forward", Hagrama added.
Speaking on the sidelines of the convocation of the Bodoland University in Kokrajhar, Mohilary said that the ground workers of the BJP party have submitted a report to BJP President Ranjeet Dass
On 11 March, Biswajit Daimary will be officially nominated to the Rajya Sabha as the candidate of the AGP-BJP-BPF coalition, Hagrama confirmed.
