Chemist arrested for peddling banned substances in Assam's Chirang

Chirang: Police on Tuesday apprehended a chemist during an operation against drug trafficking in Assam's Chirang district.

"In an operation against organised drugs trafficking conducted by Chirang Police from 3.30 pm onwards in Runikhata market area, a chemist named Nilikhang Wary (45) has been apprehended.

Several incriminating items have been recovered from the medical store owned by him located in Runikhata market.

99 strips of Spasmo Proxyvon Plus capsules each strip containing 24 capsules, 8 strips of Spasmo Proxyvon Plus capsules each strips containing 2440 capsules), and a small blue airbag was recovered from the accused. Further follow up legal action is being taken.
