GUWAHATI: Nandil Sarma, the son of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, has donated Rs 2000 from his savings to the 'Assam Chief Minister Relief Fund' to help fight COVID-19.
CM Sarma expressed happiness for his son's move and thanked Nandil for donating in the fight against the second wave of the pandemic.

I thank you Nandil," CM Himanta Biswa Sarma tweeted.Earlier, yesterday the chief minister appealed to the people of the state to contribute to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund or Assam Arogya Nidhi in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
