CM Sonowal confident of BJP winning in 12 seats out of 14 seats in LS polls

Guwahati, February 22, 2019:

Assam Chief Minister, Sarbananda Sonowal, is confident that his party, BJP will win 12 seats out of 14 seats in Assam in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

Addressing a mass rally at Chowkidinghee playground in Dibrugarh on Thursday, he said, “We are very confident that we will win at least 12 seats in the Lok Sabha election. People will vote for our party for good governance to continue. We will win with a huge majority”.

He claimed that his government had done a lot for the development of the weaker sections of the society ever since BJP came into power. The CM said the state government give landpattas to the landless which Congress government could not do in the last 70 years.

He expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for “bringing development” to the Northeast, thereby changing its socio-economic status.
