Congress Candidate claims that she is contesting from BJP

Guwahati, December 3, 2018:

As panchayat elections in Assam approaches it was seen that some candidates did not even know which party or panchayat they were contesting for. In one incident, a candidate contesting on a Congress ticket even claimed that she was a candidate of the BJP.

Over the past few days, various IQ related questions were being asked to candidates in which most failed. But this time, a candidate name Jaleha Begum from the AIUDF and a aspirant for the presidential seat of the a panchayat in Ojahgaon in Darrang did not even know who the Panchayat and Rural Development Minister of Assam is. She claimed that it was Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal and merely failed the questions that she was asked.

Another candidate named Majoni Begum who is contesting on a Congress ticket did not even know which panchayat she was contesting for. She was a Congress candidate from No 4 Bolugaon Panchayat saad that her panchayat is known as "Bharatiya Janata Party Congress. Moreover, when she was asked which party she was associated with, the Congress Candidate said that she was from the BJP.

She even claimed that she will provide employment to every unemployed person in her area.
