Congress candidate name goes missing on “Voters’ List”

Guwahati, December 5, 2018:

A major lapse of the concerned authority, a Congress candidate name went missing from the voters’ list at Jahing Gaon Panchayat in Lakhimpur.

Reportedly, the candidate, Silpi Karmakar submitted her nomination for the candidature of the No 10 Ward for the member’s post.

According to the locals, the anomaly is a stunt of the Bharatiya Janata Party-government in the voting procetdure in the panchayat polls.

It may be mentioned that the missing of names from the voters’ list is one of the major lapse in several voting station of the polls this year.
