Congress have sold Assam to Badruddin Ajmal: Himanta Biswa Sarma

Gohpur, March 30, 2019:

Assam’s Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, who was controversially denied a BJP ticket to contest the ensuing Lok Sabha elections in Assam, has continued his attacks against the opposition Congress despite the apparent slight.

Sledging the opposition over its alleged ‘secret understanding’ with Badruddin Ajmal’s AIUDF, which has chosen to only field three candidates in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections, Biswa Sarma alleged that “Congress have sold Assam to Badruddin Ajmal”.

Biswa Sarma further claimed that only Prime Minister Narendra Modi can salvage the people from the alleged “unholy nexus” between the Congress and AIUDF parties.

“We won’t surrender to Congress and Badruddin and will keep Assamese community alive. If u want to protect Assam from the likes of Ajmal and ‘Dhritarashtra’ Tarun Gogoi, you have to support Modi”, he added.
