Guwahati, April 11, 2019:

Congress candidate MGVK Bhanu and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Pallab Lochan Das from Tezpur Lok Sabha constituency were seen offering prayers at the historic Mahabhairav temple in Tezpur ahead of casting their votes.

Both the candidates were seen holding hands and wishing each other luck as the fate for the duo will be decided today.

It may be mentioned that Tezpur will see a tough battle as both the parties are running neck-to-neck for the Lok Sabha polls.

The polls have begun for the five constituencies of Assam: Lakhimpur, Dibrugarh, Jorhat, Kaliabor, and Tezpur.
