'Corrupt officials should pack their bags and leave': South Salamara ZPP President

Guwahati, March 2, 2019:

Merina Khan, the newly appointed Zila Parishad President of newly formed South Salamara constituency has announced to eradicate corruption from the region and asked officials involved in corruption to leave the region.

Khan visited her home constituency and took an account of the problems faced by the people in the region.

Speaking to media persons, Merina Khan said, “No corrupted officials will be given refuge here. From today onwards, such officials can pack their bags because the public has voted me in because they trust me. I will try my best to set up a corruption free Zila Parishad.”
