Assam: COVID-19 patient commits suicide in GMCH by jumping from hospital building

GUWAHATI: A COVID-19 patient has committed suicide at the Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Guwahati last night.

The person has been identified as Deepak Das.

Deepak Das committed suicide last night by jumping from the third floor of the hospital.

He died on the spot.

Deepak was undergoing treatment at GMCH after he had been infected with the novel Coronavirus and admitted to the hospital on May 8.
