DC Hailakandi mourns the death of Islamic scholar

The District Administration of Hailakandi on Wednesday has mourned the demise of Islamic scholar Hajrath Maulana Tayabur Rahman Barbhuiya, who passed away.

In a condolence letter to his son Maulana Abul Khar Barbhuiya, Deputy Commissioner of Hailakandi, Keerthi Jalli, while condoling the demise of his beloved father said, "His invaluable contribution for the greater good of society by way of promotion of peace and harmony will be remembered by posterity.
