Diphu landslide claims cop's life

Guwahati (Assam), Aug 27, 2018:

A policeman lost his life at Diphu, headquarters of Assam's Karbi Anglong district, due to landslide caused by rains early on Monday.

Sources said the incident occurred in Rongmirongdang area of Diphu.

Identified as Nazrul Islam, the victim was working in traffic branch of Assam Police.
