Don Bosco School Alongwith InsideNE Organizes Blanket Distribution Programme in Remote Kokrajhar Village

Guwahati, November 15, 2019:

Children from the more far-flung areas tend to feel left out during children's day, as the day is more commonly celebrated in the Indian heartland, but thanks to the efforts of the Don Bosco organization, some poor children.

Don Bosco feeder and Care Schools organized a programme to ensure that the children in Assam's Saralpara, located near the Bhutan border, do not feel left out during the special occasion.

About 300 children came together at Saralpara and had games, entertainment and a meal together. Fr Thomas Lakra and Fr Lukose Cheruvalel, Brothers Firstjoy and Peter, and the teachers of Don Bosco feeder and Care Schools put together this programme for the very poor children of this a remote area. Inside Northeast is pleased to inform that it was one of the sponsors.

The children sang and had a lot of fun while the 29 trainees of Don Bosco Organization entertained them. They all received the gift of an woolen blanket (just in time ahead of winter), among other gifts, as they went home at 3 pm.
