GUWAHATI: The Summary revision of the electoral rolls will started with reference to November 1, 2022, as the qualifying date.

From November 1, 2021, to November 30, 2021, claims and objections can be filed.

During this time, any eligible voter who chooses to enroll his or her name can do so.

Persons who have hit the age of 18 or who will reach the age of 18 on January 1, 2022, are eligible to request enrollment of their names during the summary revision.

One can fill up the

1. application form no.6 for inclusion of his/her name in the electoral roll;

2. Form no.7 for objecting inclusion of name in electoral roll or seeking deletion of name ;

3. Form no.8 to apply for correction to particulars entered in the electoral roll; and

4. Form no.8A for transposition of entry from one part of the electoral roll to another part of the electoral roll within the same constituency.

One can apply online by entering his or her name, age (date of birth), sex, and attaching scanned copies of identification, address verification, and a photograph.

After submission of the online application, the status of the application can also be checked online.

All claims and objections shall be resolved by December 20, 2021.

On January 5, 2022, the final electoral roll will be published.
