Drug Inspector seal a pharmacy in Assam’s Baksa

BAKSA: "Maa Medicos" a pharmacy in Tamulpur subdivision of Baksa district of Assam was sealed during a drive against illegal and unlicensed pharmacies.

Following an order of Bedang Talukdar, Subdivision Officer of Tamulpur, Additional Commissioner and magistrate Pritam Thakuriya in collaboration with the Drugs Inspector raided a number of pharmacies at the Medical Chowk in Tamulpur subdivision town yesterday.

During the drive, the owner of the Maa Medicos pharmacy could not produce proper documents under the Drugs Act, therefore the pharmacy was sealed in the presence of the magistrate.
