EDUCATION MINISTER HIMANTA BISWA SHARMA ANNOUNCED TRANSFER OF 10,000 TEACHERS

Education minister Himanta Biswa Sharma announced transfer of 10,000 teachers today. The minister today processed all the transfers with mutual understandings with the teachers. The transfer process will take place every year in the month of January and no transfer cases will be accepted even if it is genuine till next January. To and fro coming to Dispur will be reduced . On the basis of 10795 applicants who want transfer total 10544 has been considered.And to the very first response 8550 names will be uploaded in the new portal that has been launched today. The teachers will be adjusted to 22,367 schools which have less teachers than actually needed and to schools of 17,150 schools who have teachers more than required. As told by the education minister 509 teachers will be appointed to remote areas with utmost good facilities .The whole process will be completed before 28^th march.
