Employees of 108 and 102 ambulance service stage half nude protest

Guwahati (Assam), September 11, 2018:

The 108 and 102 employees on Tuesday staged a half-nude protest at Lakhara in Guwahati demanding payment of increment and other benefits to them by their employer GVK-EMRI.

In a statement issued earlier, GVK, EMRI vice president Sanjay Kumar Jha had said: “The management has fulfilled all the demands of the protesters. So, whatever they have alleged is not a matter of concern. Most members of employees’ association have not been working since September 4. The salaries of the employees were increased in 2014, 2015 and 2016. They were increased in 2018 too”.
