Ex-Gratia of 20 lakh given to martyr Maneshwar Basumatary’s family by Assam Government

Guwahati, February 21, 2019:

A Sanction of Rs 20 lakh as ex gratia has been handed over to the kin of martyr Maneshwar Basumatary by Assam Government today.

The ex-gratia has been handed over to the family by Chief Minister’s Media Advisor Hrishikesh Goswami, State PHE Minister Rihon Daimari and Tamulpur MLA Emanuel Muchahary and in presence of other BJP leaders in the martyr’s residence at Kolbari village in Assam’s Baksa district.

The cheque was handed over to Sunmati Basumatary, wife of Maneshwar Basumatary.

Maneshwar Basumatary was martyred in the dastardly blast at Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir. Altogether 42 jawans were martyred in the single blast.
